BIKE PATHS
Quebec is fertile ground... for bike paths! Great networks link a number of cities and the Route Verte greenbelt runs province-wide... so awaken your inner athlete! Hop off the ferry and right onto the bike path junction ...

IN MONTREAL
From the Quays of the Old Port of Montreal, you can choose from three bike paths. You could take Route Verte # 5 on the Island of Montreal east to west along the St. Lawrence River. Or you could take Route Verte # 1 that crosses the city from north to south. What an original way to explore Montreal! If you'd rather ride along the Lachine canal, the 11.5 km canal path runs from the Quays of the Old Port of Montreal to Lake St. Louis. In fact, this is the most popular bike path in Canada, attracting some 1 million users every year!

ÎLE STE-HÉLÈNE (JEAN-DRAPEAU PARK)
Why struggle through traffic to Île Ste-Hélène (Jean-Drapeau Park): simply take the river shuttle from Montreal or Longueuil! By bike, on foot or skates, three trails totaling 15 km are yours to discover! Explore the Gilles-Villeneuve trail, ride around the Olympic Basin or through the Floralies gardens. You can even tour the entire island! Have fun!
