IN MONTREAL
From the Quays of the Old Port of Montreal, you can choose from three bike paths. You could take Route Verte # 5 on the Island of Montreal east to west along the St. Lawrence River. Or you could take Route Verte # 1 that crosses the city from north to south. What an original way to explore Montreal! If you'd rather ride along the Lachine canal, the 11.5 km canal path runs from the Quays of the Old Port of Montreal to Lake St. Louis. In fact, this is the most popular bike path in Canada, attracting some 1 million users every year!

IN LONGUEUIL
On the south shore, you can continue along Vélo Route # 1 towards Greenfield Park, Saint-Hubert and beyond! Not only that, the Riveraine bike path maintained by the city of Longueuil takes you right along the St. Lawrence River!
